As a Registered Nurse Educator you will Assess and provide all medical/nursing intervention for all participants based on their individual needs; serve participants while reflecting the values of Racker as defined in our Mission, Vision, Guiding Principles and Code of Conduct.

Typically will work Monday - Friday.

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year, or $30-$38.46/hour
 
 

Responsibilities

  • Teach the Medication Administration, Tube Feeding, Diabetic Care and Colostomy Care classes to DSP's
  • Maintain a caseload of RN oversight at houses
  • Provide in-service training as needed
  • Provide nursing orientation
  • Coordinate nurses meeting with assistance of the Nursing Administrator
  • Provide support and assistance to residential nurses in team at the direction of the Nursing Administrator
  • Provide Medical perspective for other members of team
  • Serve as a resource person on all health regulations, administrative directives and nursing best practices
  • Assist with the development of new policies and procedures in coordination with the Nursing Administrator

Qualifications

Must be a Registered Nurse with a New York State License.
