Join our Racker Team in the critical role of Administrative Assistant for our Early Childhood Services! This dynamic full time position (37.5 hours) is responsible for administrative support specifically for the Early Childhood Program. This person handles coordination of student enrollments as well as being the point person for communication between Racker staff and local school districts. 

 

 Pay rate $19.00 - $21.00 per hours

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to person for all administrative needs of our Early Childhood Services program, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  •  Develop and manage all information and communication systems related to the IEP process under the Director of Education Services and in cooperation with the staff members responsible for Committee on Pre-school Special Education (CPSE) services
  •  Provide central coordination of Early Childhood Program administrative support duties for our Tompkins, Tioga and Cortland locations
  •  Coordinate with Finance Department regarding billing and statistics
  •  Assist the team in monitoring timeliness, meeting schedules and paperwork requirements
  •  Communication with CPSE regarding referrals, disseminating and gathering information, reports, and assembling required paperwork
  •  Facilitate the enrollment process in our ECS program by gathering medical records and information from other organizations, professionals and families
  •  Evaluate and streamline existing systems and procedures for effectiveness and efficiency

 

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, adaptability, and knowledge of word-processing, excel, and database applications. A warm phone demeanor and ability to communicate in person and in writing is required.
  •  Requirements: High School diploma or GED. We will train the right person in all aspects of the position
