Overview

Seeking a diligent and experienced professional to work in the Community Relations and Development Departments as the Administrative Assistant. This position will be responsible for high level documentation of donor gifts, developing gift reports, administrative responsibilities and other duties as assigned. The Administrative Assistant must possess a high level of technological ability and understanding. Strong interpersonal skills are essential in this role, which will be tasked with developing and maintaining strong community relationships. Exceptional organizational skills and time management are required along with a superior attention to detail. This position will help support the Community Relations and Development department and will report to the Director of Community Relations and Development. 

 

Starting Hourly Rate: $17.00 – $19.00/hour

This position is 37.5 hours a week, full time in person at Racker's Wilkins Road location

Responsibilities

  • Gift processing, entry, acknowledgement and reporting
  • Maintain donor database
  • Maintain and organize media permissions and other files
  • Maintain accurate and timely grant reporting
  • Distribute information internally and externally
  • Assist with community events, including overseeing registration 
  • Contribute to quarterly publication and marketing materials
  • Oversee agency mailings including our newsletter and solicitations
  • Oversee office supply and management of supplies
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree required, or equivalent experience in database and administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient data entry skills, ability to work effectively with all levels of both internal and external agencies
  • Ability to self-manage, ability to manage multiple tasks related to multiple organizational departments
  • Positive and effective communications skills – both written and verbal- and excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with community and community resources as they relate to position
  • Ownership/usage of personal smartphone for documentation purposes is required
